How active is your baby?

Aubryana just turned 7 weeks old this past Tuesday, and I can't remember when my son started becoming more interactive. She looks around so much and is so alert, picking her head up and moving it side to side. She smiles when you do things like tickle her chin or talk to her...so what are/were everyone else's babies doing around this age?

Fynn is 4 months old now and he loves to colour! He grabs the pen from me if I am writing or if we read books he is always trying to close the book (maybe he is telling me something...lol).
He is sooo strong and can stand up really well. My mom said that she has been very surprised since Fynn was really young with his alertness and strength. He is just starting to laugh and I cant wait until he laughs all the time over little things. Right now we have to really work to get him to laugh but when he does its sooo cute!

Kylie is 18 weeks or so and currently is beating on my keyboard and desk, lol. She's always moving and rarely sits still. She loves rattles, people to sing to her, and tons of movement. She makes tons of these really loud squealy sounds and coos for hours at night when we're laying in bed. She laughs a lot each day (it's so beautiful to listen to) and is learning things really fast.

Brady is 13 weeks, almost 14 and is starting so grasp at things and become really interactive with toys. He's really great at head control and likes to stand with support. He's also a hand muncher!! Loves his hands more than anything! LOL I have yet to hear a true laugh from him yet. Thought I heard it once but I could have been hearing things. He just likes to squeal more than anything.

smj- I think around 7 weeks Brady was doing the sames things as your daughter. He started cooing a lot around that time too.

My Kathryn turned 7 weeks old this past Tuesday also. She has become more active also, she will sit there and smile or just watch the colors and look around. She likes to sit up on our laps with her back supported and she turns her head alot. She also likes the bumbo chair, she will sit in it for like 15 minutes 2 or 3 times a day just looking around. She also sleeps at least one 6 hr time frame at night, it is just finding that 6 hrs that she will sleep so i can. I did not find it last night :) She woke me up alot last night.

Hello -

I have a 19 day old.  He is very alert and has his eyes open all the time looking around.  He has some head control and moves his arms and legs all the time.  Eats every 3 hours.  Sleeps a lot as well.  Also looking forward to the smiling milestone!

Olivia is now 10 weeks but from what I can remember she was basically just smiling when I talked to her and she started to babble a little then too...now she is becoming more interactive and starting to laugh a little.  She is also starting to grasp her rattle and play with some toys.
