Don't give up on trying to become pregnant!!  I had PCOS (although I wasn't told about it, I found out when I went to work for my doctor and happened to read my old chart where I saw in big fat letters "Pt. has PCOS")  However, after one treatment of Clomid and also a procedure where they "blew out my tubes" (which isn't a medical term although any fertility doctor would know what that means) I became pregnant and I have a 39 year old son who married and has given me 2 beautiful grandkids.  I adopted a girl when the Clomid no longer worked (this was back in 1970) and she has given me a granddaughter!  My husband had a boy that he had custody of and so I also ended up having step children.  We raised him together the bio Mom was out of the picture.  And he and his wife have given us another grandson!!  So do not give up hope.  You will become a mother when you least expect it.  Regarding your post, are you saying that Metforim caused body hair growth?  Or are you saying that it got rid of that extra hair than many of us had with PCOS.  I will tell you though when you get older (I'm 59) you will find that the majority of that body hair will go away!    Sincerely,  Lil' Plum
