What's everyone's "story?"

I just thought that since I haven't been on MedHelp much the past year, and there seem to be posts about people feeling "left out," Maybe we could do another "roll call?" If you don't want to participate, no biggie. I am just wondering what the frequent MedHelp posters these days are about? Are you ttc, pregnant, how many children do you have, etc?

I'm Laura, I have 1 child, a boy named Jaxson, he is 22.5 months and is pretty healthy and happy. His Father & I are together, but not married. We recently moved across the country from MA to WI.. We have no immediate plans for another child, as we are both "older" I am 32 y/o my DB is 46 y/o .. We have an obnoxious dog, and are in the process of buying a house. I am a SAHM, but am hoping to return to the work force ASAP.

I'm Cindy, had a miscarriage in June and have been TTC ever since. Had many disappointing let downs from AF, but I'm hanging in there! I have been in love with DF for almost 10 years. Been best friends since we were 13. We have a dog named Bitzy that we call Bit Bit. She is staying with my mother until we get our house finished. I'm excited to become a mother to other than a dog, soon. I am a big time animal lover :)

Hey Cindy! Nice to "meet" you & thx for responding. I loved Punky (our dog) sooo much more before I had Jaxson.. Now she mostly annoys me. =)  It's true! You'll see when you eventually have a little one. I am so very sorry to hear of your loss.. There are never proper words to express to someone who has suffered this type of loss. I wish you the best of luck on your ttc journey! SSBD and here's hoping you get our BFP soon! ((Cheers!!))

Thank you!!

Dogs tend to annoy me if I'm cooking and I hear their little claws pit pattering all over the kitchen floor! So I know it'll happen! lol

Hey Julia, and CONGRATS!! Your babies will be almost exactly 3 years apart?! HOW COOL! Let me know how that age difference works out? We have briefly talked about ttc for #2, but I am NOT ready yet. I think I would prefer Jax could talk and go potty by himself first!!

Yay, I'm so 'essited' for you! ;)

Yes... lol exactly three yrs apart! Its amazing how it just happened! Isabella is a chatterbox... talks sings, tells stories, reads to herself lol. Shes been potty trained since she turned two.... lol I really tried, No forcing involved! Just let her go nakey, obv put out clean towels for when/where she wanted to sit... and within 3 days, she began running to the potty, obviously not without accidents, bc when kids get "sidetracked" they forget then its too late, For example in the begining once i noticed she hasnt gone in the past hr or two, i take her and sit her on it, once she goes, i know im free to chill out for two more hrs.... they get the hang on it, but its all new to them. Im just thrilled that shes really smart and learned quickly, or else i think ttc wouldve waited too! ;)

I'm Malia! I've suffered through 1 miscarriage and I have 2 daughters both of which pregnancies were unplanned. My oldest daughter Aspen will be 3 on the 23rd (took the morning after pill and it didnt work) and my youngest Navy will be 2 months old tomorrow (nuva ring failed me). Geez time flies! I just got good news last week that Aspen's dad will be completely signing off on her and letting DH adopt her! I am so excited this is happening since the last 3 years he's only used Aspen as a pawn to control me and now that he'll be It of the picture we can all breathe easier! I'm 23 years old BTW and work part time as a server just so I can get out of the house to get a little sanity sometimes. DH is actually mad at me for going back to work since he wanted me to stay with Navy until she was at least 6 months. Pssf to him. I'm also a full time college student (although I took the last semester off) getting my degree in interior design. DH and I do not plan on actually trying for a baby for about 5 years and at that point me might do the thing to seperate his female and male sperm so we can have a better chance at having a boy!

I'm Audrey. I've been a member of this site for nearly four years, but for the last year, I've been pretty busy so I haven't been able to post too much.
I'm 26 years old and I have two boys: Trevor is six and Greydon is 10 months. I just got married last September to my husband, Brandon, who is absolutely wonderful and everything I could want and hope to have as a husband and a daddy to my boys. He is not Trevor's biological father, but in every other essence, he has adopted him.
Trevor's bio father is hardly a part of the picture and lives halfway across the country and as hard as I try to keep things civil and stay positive about him for Trevor's sake, he doesn't make it easy.
I work as a technical writer and my husband is in his senior year of college working on an electrical engineering degree. Life is a bit of a struggle right now and his graduation date can't seem to come soon enough.
We'd like to try to have a third child sometime in the next 2-4 years.

Hi Everyone,
My name is Heather and I am 28 years old. I have been married to my best friend for 6 years and I just had my son Franky 4 months ago.  Prior to him I suffered a miscarriage at 12 weeks pregnant (had no idea until I went in for my scan) and had to have a d&c.  I frequented this forum throughout my whole pregnancy and post o/t questions here and there simply because I have made friends and this forum gets a lot of traffic from a lot of different women with good experience.  I try to help if I log on and see a question I can help with.  I just resigned from my job as a Financial Sales Executive to stay home with my baby.  I am going out of my mind at home since I have worked since I was 16.  I am looking for a little job at night just to get out of the house like Alaysha.  I will be TTC again in a few years for baby #2.  =)

Hi,
I'm Sarah, 33, and happily married for 8 years. We are expecting our first child in January. I didn't think I wanted kids but we both had a change of heart last year. After having my Mirena IUD removed, it took 10 months to conceive. We actually found out we were expecting on our 8th wedding anniversary. Meant to be! I work from home as a environmental designer and my husband owns a remodeling company. We just purchased a cabin and 40 acres and are leaving the city life for rural farm life this Spring. Can't wait! I have really appreciated the medhelp community while TTC and during this pregnancy.

Hi, all!!! My name is Ivy, I'm 25 years old, been married for over 3 years and I have two perfect babies. My daughter is named Kahlan Syana and she turned 2 in September. My little boy is named Grey Joseph and he will turn 5 months old on the 14th (he was born in July). We live in North Florida and have our own house with a big yard (which is soon going to have a swing set and a pool...big Christmas presents ;) ).

We are planning to TTC #3 this time next year, but AF is 3 almost 4 days late at this point so maybe my plans are going to be made for me LOL. I will be testing on saturday. My husband is a landscaper at the local University, and I am a Stay-at-home-Mom who does a bit of writing (technical, freelance, and novelic) and editing from home, and I will be starting a nannying job coming up in another week which will be nice because we're going to have extra money just in time for Christmas :). We're going to pick up a new puppy today, and then friday we're going to pick up another puppy and a kitten at a kill shelter in Georgia. We also have 4 birds (3 of which are rescues) however our oldest female cockatiel is not doing well today and I'm afraid she might pass soon :(.

But I am an obnoxiously upbeat person and I love everything about my life even the bad parts!!! I was also recently honored with the title of Co-Community Leader of this community and I am here to be support for anyone who needs it EVER. message me and I will do my best to help you through whatever it is you need, and if you have ANY complaints about the board contact me or a moderator and we can hopefully make things right :)

This is wonderful Laura thank you for doing something to bring the board together and make everyone feel welcome...you put me to shame!!! :-).

Well, HELLOOOO everyone! ;D

I am so sorry to hear of your losses, ladies.. No words can express how truly sorry I am for those of you whom had to endure a miscarriage. So devastating and my heart breaks for you all.

Ashelen, you are crazy!! Put you to shame? Pssha! =)   I have just been pretty incognito on this board for the past 12 months+ so I was feeling like I didn't really *know* anyone. It helps when I kinda have a feel for people and what they are going through personally for me. I guess I feel more "online connected."

Alaysha & Heather, I am SOO with you two.. I can NOT wait to get a J-O-B.. I always thought being a SAHM was my "dream.." I was WRONG.. so wrong. I am going crazy and I need an outlet for me. Being a SAHM isn't for me, (or whimps!!) =D

Desting & Katie- GL on your ttc journey. My sister is currently ttc and I know it can be very emotional and difficult. BEST of luck to you both!

AHP- I definitely remember you! =)

5N1= that's so nice to hear! Congrats and nice to *meet* you!

I hope I didnt forget anyone! My phone is ringing, the dog is barking, AND Jaxson is crying.. Welcome to my life! ;P

Ammanda - nice to see you on here! =)

Clysta, nice to *meet* you. ;)

Destiny & Katie, G

My name is Chantal, I am 24 years old and have been married for 4 years now. I have also been a member here for almost 4 years. ( I love you ladies!!)
I suffered 2 miscarriages in 2007, then had my healthy baby boy in 2008. When Jeremiah was 8 months old, I fell preggo again (total surprise!) and had my second baby boy in 2009. Jesse was born with a rare liver disease and needed a transplant. He did not receive one in time and just passed away Aug. 1, 2010 at 10 months old. Jeremiah misses his best friend! BUT I just found out (to our surprise again!! haha) that I am preggo. It's tough with so many emotions running through me and a tough year, but I am happy and hoping this pregnancy continues to go well. I am due July 7, 2011. I am a SAHM and LOVE it! :)  Nice to meet you all and catch up with everyone! <3

Hi! i'm Corinne. I'm 25. I just recently joined this forum. I finally (after 6 months of "nagging") convinced DH to start TTC. We have been married for 2 years, and have been together for nearly 7 years. We have 2 dogs and a cat. He is a web designer and I am a hair stylist. I would LOVE to be a sahm, but it most likely won't happen.. We are really hoping for a BFP for Christmas!
