That would be awsome!!!! Oh and I was up majority of the night with my legs going. Doesn't happen every night, but enough. Here I googled restless leg. Main cause is dehydration.
Wow, so good it happened while you were there so he could see it and explore it further. It is funny how your body seems to ramp up with all the aches and pains and strains of pregnancy and then its all done. Hopefully they can get this sorted for you so your last 6wks is more a bit more comfortable!
Went to the PCP today, and he said I was severely dehydrated. BP when the nurse took it, it was 110/70 something. I ended up lying down waiting for the dr. to come in. I was so dizzy, and I'm so glad I was having a "spell" while in there to finally to get to the bottom of this. He took my bp while lying down 124/76, then had me stand up, it went down to 90/70 with a heart rate of 140. The last time he had to check it three times just to be sure. He seemed shocked, but did order another glucose test, thyroid, and platelet (guessing that's the anemia one). He seemed concerned and said if I was already in the hospital he would be forcing fluids. So I know I felt like I haven't been drinking as much water as I should, but I'm being more mindful and trying to get water down. Only thing I question, and I even said to the dr. is I drank tons and tons of water with my first, and still had these dizzy spells, but if these tests come back normal, I guess it's the only explanation. AND the upside of this as he joked, and I agreed that in 6wks this will be all over. Funny how at delivery your body goes right back to normal.
Thank you so much for sharing. I was starting to wonder how could I have all normal levels and passing out. Once I have the baby I know everything will go back to normal.
I used to faint all the time in this pregnancy but fainted only once with my first. At 28wks I passed my glucose test without any problems but found out I was severely anemic and needed an iron infusion in hospital. Haven't fainted since.
I used to pass out (not for 20min) when I was prego w my now 7y/o.. wasn't a diabetic, but had sugar in my urine. Passed the test. Was put on a diet of eating every 2 hours to help w natural sugars.
