Please they told me the baby will be 7.5 pounds and it's fine
All the research I have seen and read shows that pre-pregnancy measurements are rarely accurate. I feel that the less medical interventions the better. Our bodies were made for giving birth and we should trust that. Once interventions are introduced, the natural process can go askew.
Keep in mind the US performs more c-sect. than any other country with less favorable results. Some women favor c-sect, and that is their choice. I am more in favor of natural non-intervention birth, Not saying anything to try to scare you but I encourage you to make an informed decision.
The weight is of the babies are not accurate my doc said on my second baby was prolly 10 pounds but was not he was 8.3...no one can accurate tell how much weight the baby until born...
My first was 8 lbs and my second was 8 lbs 15 oz I'm a small woman so don't worry I went natural with my daughter but my son I needed a c section due to him coming out head side ways
My daughter was 6lbs 8oz when she was born and I super ripped... It all depends on your body... My mom didn't rip at all and I was 9lbs 10oz when I was born... If you want a vaginal delivery, have one... I find that Drs always try to push crap on you to make their lives easier... Idk... Imo... It wasn't that bad ripping... Don't get me wrong it hurt really bad, but its nothing like what it sounds
My first one was 9pounds and I'm small girl and had no ripping. If I were you id stick with natural labor, specially with your first one.
