I just wanted to let everyone know that nothing is impossible.
I am so excited to tell you all we are pregnant. At 49 I didn't think it would happen this fast.
Thanks for all the nice comments and prayers.............When I start showing I'll post some pictures.
Now the wonderful story begins. God answered our prayers. " With God All things are possible"

Congratulations!!!! I get more hopeful when I read posts from you ladies that are older than I am...which is 40. My only help besides natural supplements and such can only come from God and you wonderful ladies that give me hope. God bless all of you!!!

OH MY WORD!!! I am sooooo delighted for you and you have given me, and loads more ladies hope and encouragement.. Im 47 and am truly inspired that you have done it at 49!! Brilliant.. :) Take good care of yourself and enjoy your prenancy hun. very very best of wishes and luck.. Keep a close watch on your BP even if you don't usually have high BP. It was a little elevated a couple times, but they thought it was just because I was nervous. Mine was fine till 8 months when I developed pre-enclampsia. It got high enough it might have caused a stroke. It might have been a factor in us losing our baby. I had not been checking it myself since It had not been a problem before then.
I heard lots of stories of older mothers with very good outcomes.
John the Baptist's parents were older too!

I got my first episode of morning sickness today. I never got it for my other kids. In fact, I am still not feeling very well. The sound of certain foods just makes me sick. I guess pregnancy is going to be a lot different this time around. Karen

Good luck to you.....did you get a blood test or home pregnancy test? How are your hcg levels!! I hope all is well for you and that your hcg levels double nicely for you!

congratulations, and i'm hoping for the very best for you. when is your first dr. appt? you need to get those hcg levels checked and re-checked immediately. in menopausal women, there is often enough hcg (15-25) to get a positive, but then it doesn't double. so when it doubles you are going to really feel great! and i can't wait to hear the numbers! you need to get in to your dr. right away!
