Advice on carseat i have to a friend

I am pregnant and due in 9 wks, i have a toddler who will be 2 when baby is due. My friend had a baby a month ago and about 3 mos ago i gave her my carseat/travel system that i bought with my toddler. I went all out and got Chico brand (which was not cheap!) So my friend had her baby and i asked her when she wanted the stroller bcuz she only took the carseat. She then tells me that her mom felt bad for not getting her anything for her shower and her mom bought her the SAME travel system I gave her. So I'm trying to buy another carseat for my baby and double stroller and it dawns on me...Is it rude to ask for the carseat back so i can sell the system and use it for my babies??? She doesn't even use it, i go to get house and the carseat just is in the corner with stuff thrown in it. Can i ask for it back???

Definitely Would Ask For It BBack. Especially Since She's Not Using It .

I would ask for it back.  You were nice enough to give it to her but since she is most def not using it it is not rude at all

Of course. It ain't rude and she ain't using it. Why spend more money when you don't have too.
