Thank you very much :) Time will tell what reaction we will get,I may be wrong but gut feeling says it won't be the reaction to expect! I know his kids won't like it and probably other members but it's not their lives and if that was them in the same situation I would be happy for them and say go for it!!! You're only put on this earth once so got to enjoy the time you have :)
Always believe if it's meant to be then so be it.I'm so glad I have found other people in similar situations and it's helping me a lot :) I will be glad to get the scan so I can finally tell all and then deal with it rather than worry what they think. It's like one minute I couldn't give a dam the next worrying what they think!!! LOL I am the same every so often think 'what were we thinking' but at the same time knew what we were both doing!! Looking back I think I had my kids quite young but would never change it for the world,I love them dearly.
Congratulations on your pregnancy too and I hope all is going well.Keep in touch! x

Congratulations and best wishes for you on your pregnancy :)

My husband and I experienced mixed reactions at first to our decision to have a child together but thankfully, even the hold-outs have come around :) Many of our peers can't imagine starting all over at this point (we have 5 children, none together. Our oldest 4 are 21, 20, almost 20 and 19. We also have custody of his 10 year old daughter). My best friend just became a grandmother! And honestly, every once in a while I think "What were we THINKING?!" LOL

But then little Robin kicks and I think...I wouldn't change a thing and I don't care what anyone says :) We are VERY happy...our relationship is stronger than ever and I love my husband more each day.

Again, congratulations!

Thank you! I just have a feeling that we are going to get comments about it cos they have already made 'jokes' about it when my husband was saying that we might have another. That really got me angry cos I would never judge anyone and kind of made me more determined!!! Now that I'm in that situation just worried what people think but I shouldn't I should be thinking about us and not them they are not worth it,I know my 2 kids will be over the moon and also my family which will probably perk me up :) Guess it's just my hormones too.How old is you little one now?How was your pregnancy? Thanks again x

Congrats on your pregnancy!  My husband and I had our first child at almost 41 (my husband actually was 41, I was a week away).  Honestly, if people have issues with it, to heck with them..lol.  Personally, my family and friends were very supportive and excited for us.  Yeah, I have had the very odd negative comment, but I just ignore.  The best time to have a baby is the time that is best in your lives.  If you two are excited and happy, that is all that matters.  Congrats again!

Thanks for your lovely comment :) Won't be saying anything until 12 weeks due to having an early miscarriage in May.Just thinking of the reaction but if they are not happy then too bad that's life I guess!Really appreciate you taking the time to comment :) x
