Can I get pregnant with FSH 16 and Clomid only?

I am 43 and having been ttc for a year after a miscarriage.  I just found out I have a day 3 FSH of 16 and estradiol of 29.  I ovulate every month according to the ovulator predictors. My ob told me I have a 5-10% chance of pregnancy.  I just started taking 100 mg of Clomid.  My husband refuses to go through any infertility treatments like IUI.  I had my 3 year old daughter at 40.  Got pregnant the first we tried.  All of this is a shock.  Has anyone had success with just Clomid with a high FSH?

I'm 40 and have had my FSH test result back and its 17. I have also got a 2cm choc cyst on in my right ovary and also have endometriosis. (Not looking good). Any advice accepted. Westerner from Thailand

I also conceived recently with a FSH of 14.6 naturally.  We have a healthy almost 3 year old daughter who we conceived easily.  Then I had two miscarriages.  I'm only 7 weeks along with this pregnancy so I'm not out of the woods yet but happy to be where I am.  I will turn 41 in November.  So, yes it is very possible.  Good luck to you!!

I did.  I was 41 when I had Gavin and my FSH was 16, I did one cycle of clomid and conceived my son.  He is now 8 months old and just as healthy as can be.

Good luck to you.  I did have 5 miscarriages before I was able to have him; but I wasn't giving up and it finally happened for me and it will happen for you too if you keep trying.
