My co worker was ashamed of it and did not take any pictures of her daughter that showed her feet. I encourage you to take pictures. My mom took pictures, kept my casts. Took pictures of all my casts on me. Its really helpful. Helped me understand and I was able to show my husband. Helped him understand when I say my feet hurt I'm not being a baby. I only complain when its horrible. Some ppl don't understand what it is so I show them my baby book.

My former co workers daughter has it too. I think they just did braces until she was 6 and still having issues they did surgery. I do have set backs with my feet but it is what it is. Your baby will be just fine!

My grandma and I both have bilateral club foot. (Both feet) looks scary but its fine. I personally have had 4 surgeries last one at 5 yrs old. I played baseball/softball/basketball/soccer. To get in shape for my wedding I ran 6 miles a day. I have had foot issues but I don't believe it has to do with my club feet. I remember my last time in casts! My feet are short and chubby. Its hard to find sandles. I used to be ashamed o them because of my scars. But ppl think they are cute. And its a part of who I am. If I'm on my feet too much they will get stiff and hurt. But over all its what my grandma and I have in common.

It's a simple surgery and several months of corrective casts/braces. Not easy per se but easily corrected and definitely nothing to be ashamed of!
