Update on slow rising HCG for me
Ladies thank you first of all for your answers on my earlier question on my hcg levels. Well went into the doc this am - I was a wreck but had my HCG done. He told me he would like to see a 900-1000 miu for the dates I am supposed to be at. As I had a previous ectopic before , my gynae ordered a scan and he could see a very early intrauterine pg. It was a very very very small sac but he pointed it out to me and said that at least we can rule out ectopic. Now it would depend on what numbers I would get today. Waiting for 2 hours for the results was terrifying. I was shaking like a leaf and praying and praying so hard. My HCG levels had jumped to 1092 (today Friday) from 237 on Monday and 129 last Friday. Praise God. I have to see my gynae in 2 weeks time to see the fetal pole and am now on progresterone supplements. Just want to thank you all for your responses to my worries.
I am sorry to hear about your baby boy and I know what you mean about super paranoid. I had an ectopic and lost a boy also at 17 weeks so I have been there and totally know what you are going through. I read that you cant depend on quantitive numbers but on the doubling time that ismore imprt as it shows how the pregnancy will progress. Hang in there. I am trying so hard to!
That is a great number at 4w5d...mine was only 563 at 4w5d but my doubling time is 50hrs. I hope my baby is OK. I lost a baby boy due to Trisomy 18 at 18.5 weeks so I am super paranoid things will be bad for me again.
Hi there - I am sorry but I have no clue as I didnt know when I ovulated. I only knew when I tested 1092 I was prob 4 weeks 5 days. But my 129 and 237 were 65 hours apart.
What DPO were you for your 1092 result? I was just wondering since my levels are a bit low even though they are doubling every 50 hours. Let me know, thank you :)
