contractions and a lot of pain

Ok so my edd is 9/24/14 which puts me at week 36, but measuring @ 38 weeks now,  was in LD last night having contractions and barely able to walk,  and baby want very active during any of this,  so they put me on a  iv to stop my contractions n sent me home! ? Seriously don't know what to do,  I'm still the same way today,  I can't walk hurts to move and feels like my baby is going to fall out if I walk.  Anyone else experiencing this or have experienced it? Im just lost at this point and nothing is relieving the pain

Try asking your doctor if she will be willing to induce you since you are in doing much pain. You are close enough to your Edd for them to induce. I was the same way when I had my daughter in 2011. I asked my OB to induce me because it felt like my body was going to try and push her out, so she had me go in immediately.

They're different at times 2-3 mins apart then some 10 mins go by then another few good ones.  But it's constant pain and now I'm on bed rest as of today from my doctor.

Go back to the ER or call your Dr and tell them. You should have been kept over just incase this started again. You need to be checked as you may really be in labor now.
