so ready!

So I'm 37 weeks 2 days and I'm so ready to have this baby and be done being pregnant. I'm very emotional and cry about everything. I ache everywhere can barely walk have trouble even getting up off the couch or chair. I feel so much pubic and uteroun pressure when I walk. I'm not even sure if I'm having any type of contractions yet. What can I do to get the process going?

Plus when a woman orgasms the hormone oxytocin is released, oxytocin is the natural labor hormone :)

Definitely sex, there is a hormone in semen that could start contractions and i am right there with you 37&2 ready to stop being pregnant and lots of pubic and vaginal pressure hardley able to breath lol, i know that walking helps a lot just from walking I've started really strong braxton hicks

I'm 36 weeks 3 days & dilated 6 cm. No contractions but a lot of pressure. Because I'm still early, my doc wants me to try to wait until at least 37 weeks. I feel like a zombie, just toss & turn when I lay down but when I'm up I'm so exhausted. I heard Rasberry Leaf tea helps but I can't drink it since I still have 4 weeks & baby needs to grow more. Good luck on pregnancy!

Number3at39 just be careful taking sooooo much higher Tylenol that's not great either to much of it...  :)  don't mean badly just bad for ur liver.  And also acetaminophen is Tylenol. I'm 35 wks 2 days I've had 3 back surgeries so I totally sympathize with pain for wks not been sleeping walking anything good EVERYTHING hurts. I'm sorry for you all know how you feel hope you feel better soon and wish you all easy deliveries with happy healthy babies.

Definately agree with the other posters,  walking,  sex.  I dont know much about nipple stimulation but heard alot of success stories.

What i do to make exercise bearable is take 500 mg of Tylenol with acedameniphine two hours before walking.  Im in alot of pain also and im not as far along as you (30 weeks),  but i know how you feel.  Ive been through this twice before.  I usually take about 2000mg of tylenol daily just to function as per my doctor.  I take 4 pills a day

Hang in there, I was just like you when i was at the 37 week mark, time just seemed to drag by. But believe me, when bub does arrive, time will fly by! I ended up having my baby at 38w 6d due to a placenta hemorrage. Just try to enjoy the last bit of your pregnancy the best you can, baby can come at any time now, i know it feels like waiting forever, but hang in there!

First of all CONGRATS!  At 37 weeks, your baby is considered :"full term" and can safely come anytime.  If you're tired, sleep.  Try to listen to your body as much as "life" can allow.  These last couple weeks require you to rest up so you're ready for the big work of labor.  Your baby will come when it's good and ready.  Insist on some pampering!

Im 37.and 5...not too far from eachother. I just left the hospital dialated at 3cm been having contractions since 11am but got sent home because i wouldn't go.higher than 3cm. Good thing is i got sent home with pain meds so my pelvic area is ok now...but still feeling contractions. Try sex since walking hurts u. Good luck. Try getting that belly brace that may help. Before today all i was tld was take tylenol. Stimulations of the nipples can help especially during sex.
