Pictures posted....

My mom posted for me the other night.  Jillian arrived at 6:13pm on Friday June 6th.  She weighed 8 pounds 3 ounces and 20 inches long and is perfect!!!  I had to have an emergency c-section after getting into active labor and staying at 4 cm for over 6 hours.  We had a heart rate scare and some more bleeding than the doctor liked, so into the OR we went.  It was so worth it.....she is just totally perfect and I can't stop looking at her and smelling her and holding her!

DH is totally in love - the nurses all joked that he left me for a younger woman!  He is smitten and picking up on all the daddy duties very well!

I posted a few pictures....will update more soon, but for now it is time to wake the sleeping beauty and try this breast feeding thing again!

thanks for the advice....my mom saw your post yesterday and told me to do that, so now I feed and then pump.  I'm still not producing a ton it seems since she latches and feeds well for about 10-15 minutes per side (if/when I'm lucky) and then often wants more but not from me.  I think she is too tired and fussy by then to keep trying.  DH is worried about her weight so we then supplement with formula (sometimes she will still take almost 2 oz!).  I'm feeling like I'm not making enough, but maybe it is just too early still.  I've not become engorged yet and bb's are still fairly soft, although definitely bigger!
Guess I just keep at it and see what we can do.......
