just went to the bathroom and there it was on the tp...EWCM....OMG....i never see this stuff and now im ever so more excited about this cycle...and let me tell you it was pretty stretchy...which is completely new to me too

so we must BD tonight but i have a question (of course :)  )

does this mean I'm O'n now or I'm about to O....what should my plan of attack be now...im on CD9



please pray for me....im hoping to get my BFP very soon and this is a great start towards it

Since June last year i have been trying to conceive and this march it finally happened, i never got the ewcm that everyone keeps talking about and i am 7 weeks prego.  The only thing i did different was sex every other day starting 2 days before the fertile day and continuing on until 3 days after my predicted ovulation.  No temp or cervix checking was done

I know how nervewracking this is.  I feel exactly the same way.  I tried something last night that calmed me....maybe it can help you too.  It sounds kinda silly, but here goes...

I told you I got positive on my OPK as well.  So we are also in BD time.  God, I feel so silly telling you this, but after BD with my hips still  propped up..lol, I closed my eyes, started doing deep breathing to relax, and visualized  DH's little guys swimming like crazy, smashing into that egg, and bursting into a baby...here's the really stupid part...then crazy gluing itself to my womb...lol.  Well, it needs to stay put!!!  Anyway, I read a book by Deepach Chopra called "Creative Visualization"(well, not exactly this issue, but same idea), thats where it came from.  And seeings how stress is almost the worst thing we can do, for ovulation, implantation, etc., I decided to give it a try.  It put a smile on my face, relaxed me, and just generally made me feel happy.  I am honestly not a complete wing nut, (maybe just a partial one..lol).  But I have come to the conclusion that my stress level about this whole thing was not doing me a bit of good, so trying another approach.

Good luck waitn, I will be testing same time as you.  Keep thinking positive!!!

ugh...2 more weeks...but then i think how fast time has been moving since my loss and it amazes

i will begin testing on my 8 weeks anniversary of my loss....figured its a good time to start....so if no AF by 5/5 (cinco de mayo...yay) then ill test

my girlfriend was in your situation....she had sex every other day for like a week and she delivered a healthy baby girl 3 wks ago!!! I wish a BFP for your very very soon!

You really shouldn't just rely on your body signs. They have pretty inexpensive OPK's that you should buy and use so that you know FOR SURE when you ovulate. I think that some people get frustrated because they are POSITIVE they ovulated but aren't actually doing opk's or anything and miss the most fertile days. I want you to get preggo after your recent loss so if I were you I  would invest in the sticks!! good luck!

thanks ladies...i also noticed i had pelvic pressure yesterday too so im pretty sure I O'd....i believe my body O's early every cycle...guess its normal for me

Yippee for you!!!  Get yourself some OPKs!!!
I typically O'd a day or two after major ewcm....BD every other day or so and GOOD LUCK!!!!

Good luck, but don't rely too heavily on the egg white stuff.  

For me, I have always O'd about 4 days after that stuff, when things have been pretty dry.  I've been preg 12 times I think.  So many I seriously lose track.

If you don't want to invest in the OPK sticks, just do the deed every other day for the next week and your chances will be great.

Remember, don't get up to go to the bathroom afterwards!

After your post on this the other day, I read up on it.  Apparantly it can be a bit different for everyone, and its possible you may not actually ovulate for a couple of days.  I use an ovulation kit, and it tells me when the best time is.  It has worked for me in the past.  I haven't had a cycle yet since my last m/c, and got a positive for ovulation yesterday.  You can get them at the drugstore, I buy a kit of 7 sticks for about $45.00.  Maybe give it a shot?  Also, as a result of your post, I read up on EWCM, and found alot of women using egg whites to help things along.  There were positives and negatives about it, (positive, its natural and consistancy mimicks what the body produces naturally.  negative, there is always the chance of infection.) but I gave it a try yesterday anyway.
