I have a question is it normal for your Dr to wait until you are 8 wks and 2 days before they do an ultrasound?  I'm 5wks 2 days... please let me know to ease my mind.. thanks

I'm 11 wks this coming monday and had one done approximately at 5 wks. I thought I was furthee along then I actually was because bleeding issues irregular periods since my one yr old was born. Al I saw was darkness. Id rather gone further see more but she was tryin to give a date to my pregnancy. At 8 wks youll actually see ur bean :) its amazing the difference in 3 to 4 wks. I had them with my other 5 kids 8-10 wks the furst time. Good luck

At 5 to 6 weeks you will brobably see nothing or just a sac.

Mine was done at 5 weeks due to high risk history but nothing was seen and the doctor didnt even bother to give me a print out.

Its better to wait till week 7 to 8 to appreciate the Gods creation.

Yes. Lots wont see you until 8-12wks. I got to see mine at 6wks this time because I'm high risk due to preeclamplsia with my first. Good luck with your first appointment!
