For sure :) I do hope that you find a really good OB too!!! I was lucky and got an awesome one, never had to change. I wish you the best of luck with Baby Savannah :)
I actually waited it out. I am in the process of changing ob's because my current ob doesn't have time to even read my reports from neonatal specialists regarding the baby getting smaller with each ultrasound nor does he want to really treat me for anything. Just want to make sure she is healthy and strong but I do think that I am having some braxton hicks so if they keep coming I will take a trip to the ER. Thanks for checking up on me :-)
Did you wait it out or did you go to the OB? Glad that you are feeling much better now :)
Thank you guys! I am feeling much better today and baby Savannah is back to doing flips all around my belly lol. Think all is good now :-)
Yes, I had those round ligament pains. Just like a sharp pain like someone was stabbing me when I got up or walked or moved a certain way. Let us know how you are feeling okay?!
It does sound a bit like braxton hicks, except the pain typically does not continue. It also sounds to me like it might be round ligament pain which is common around this stage and for some reason is particularly common on the right side. That being said, I would also contact your Dr. It's probably nothing to worry about..pregnancy comes with all sorts of odd sensations and aches and pains, but it is always best to err on the side of caution. That's what they are there for!
I would call your ob immediately to let them know. They may want u to come in for monitoring. Good luck
Hi! It could be Braxton-Hicks contractions. You said that's it's NOT like a contraction? When I had Braxton-Hicks with my son it was unbearable almost. I couldn't move and I just felt like screaming. Everyone is different, some it hurts, some it doesn't. I would try to go see the OB as soon as you can though, just to make sure something more serious isn't happening. Is it continual or does it go away and come back??
When I had tightening over my whole abdomen it was Braxton-Hicks contractions, which usually aren't painful. Sometimes the ligaments in your abdomen can hurt, especially when you change position.
Lay down, find a comfortable position (not flat on your back, that can interfere with blood circulation) and rest. You can also take some Tylenol
