Telling friends and family?

I'm 8 weeks today and my first visit with an obgyn is Feb. 20th. How long did you wait to tell your parents the news? My husband and I wanted to wait till we know everything is okay. What are your thoughts?

Yea i always tell right away but im close to my fam. But some wait until 12weeks becuase then your chances of mc are much lower. Just depends on you and how u feel about sharing. Im always way to excited not to share

I told my family as soon as I found out at 5 weeks. I figured I'd tell them if anything went wrong & by that logic have also told mum close friends. I have my first midwife appointment Thurs 14th when I'll be 8 weeks :-)
