Hi there. Are there any women here who had their tubes reversed?
Did you have a successful pregnancy? How old were you when you
had your tubes reversed and what doctor did you use?

Hi there.. the doctor office called and stated that I had the Fallope Ring procedure and can proceed when I am ready...........well, I am ready!
I am wiring the money next week and will schedule the procedure for the first week of August. Thanks for the information.

It should be just a few days. It didn't take them long at all to contact me after they received mine. Good Luck.. it's so exciting and so worth it!!!

I'm feeling okay, lots of pressure when I walk which is making it harder every day!! I wish he would come before the 15th but I will settle for then too as long as I know it won't be long!! 9 days.. yay!!

My documents were finally received today. How long does it take for them to follow up with you after they have your report from the TL?

I want to book my flight asap so that I can get a reasonable flight...not wanting to do the procedure until the first week of August...I pray that all goes well and he feels as if I am a good candidate for the TR.

I had the Fallope Ring procedure done to me 10 1/2 years ago. Dr. Levin was excellent!! I would highly recommend him to anyone! He saved 8.1 cm on the right side 6.1cm on the left and gave me an 85% chance at conceiving. The recommended time he told me to wait was 6 weeks. We had an accident a month later and got pregnant right away and that sadly ended in a tubal pregnancy. We lost it May 31. He then told us to make sure we waited this time until I healed completely from the surgery and the tubal pregnancy. We tried in August and got pregnant right away!

You are right, he does have a very warm quality about him! Just wait til you meet him in person!! Both him and Venica are just really nice people! I love the fact that they come to your room the next morning after the surgery to check you over and make sure you are okay before leaving! We checked into a few other doctors but as soon as we found his site we inquired further!! If you decide to go with him I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

Christina-   I thought you knew that we had both had it done... lol.. yes you do learn something new all the time about your medhelp friends!!

I do not remember how my tubes were addressed during the TL  but I have read that if your tubes were tied by cautery or burning of the fallopian tubes, that your chances of getting pregnant after the TR is lower. Did either of you have the procedure done that way?

pcarsey: Congratulations! How ironic, I am waiting on a call now from Dr. Levin to let me know his thoughts on the operative report from my TL. What type of procedure did they use to tie your tubes? How long did Dr. Levin tell you to wait after the surgery before ttc?
I also read Dr. berger information and he seemed to be pretty good as well.

azqtpies: Thank you for the information. You have to tell me more about the procedure. I read alot about Dr. Levin (he gave me that worm comfortable feeling) but did not read anything on the doctor you mentioned.
I feel SO MUCH better after reading your posting as well as pcarsey. I am 36, will be 37 in September and after THREE FAILED IVF attempts, I am ready for a BFP! Congratulations to you!

I am 39 had my tubal reveral June 15, 07 and was pregnant Aug  1, 07 just gave birth to a healthy baby boy on March 28, 2008. I was 38 when they were reversed and I used Dr. Craig in Tempe, AZ... GREAT doc is one of the top 10 ! It had been 9 years since my tubal and , I say go for it ours weked right away!!! and oh, so worth it! Good luck to you =)

Hi, I'm 35 and I had a tubal reversal March 15th, 2007. I am currently expecting my lil one any day now!! Sooner rather then later...lol.. The doctor that did mine is in Kentucky. Dr. Levin.. babies-by-levin.com. He gave me an 85% chance on conceiving and it happened right away! I actually got pregnant in April by accident and it was too soon and ended in a tubal. The we were told to make sure we let it all heal COMPLETELY and got pregnant right away in August!
