Hi Suziblu, My advice is Since both of you are 49y/o you need to talk to a doctor and also have a meeting with a genetic counselor about it first.

Once the doctor has done all the test and you understand all the risk of having a baby and then you can calmly plan for it.

Hi hun,Im sorry your having trouble to concieve, sadley when we reach 35 our egg supply becomes alot less, this dont mean to say you cant concieve, just maybe a little longer.because of your age, personally I would discuss with your doctor about possible options to increase fertility.are you timming ovulation, since your regular, ovulation will be 12-16 days before your period.you could try charting your temps also, fertility friend has a good site with charts you can download.this will help.as for supplements, you can try taking pre-natals,whilst this wont increase your pregnancy chance it will help prepare your body.
