CVS results back!
I just have to shout to the world that I got my CVS test results back yesterday, and all was good!! All the chromosomes are there! And...it's a GIRL! Truly amazing modern medicine that we can know all this so early in pregnancy (12 weeks 5 days today)!
And for those of you wondering whether any of the wives' tales/pregnancy symptoms can help you predict the gender of your baby...they did for me:) the heart beat has never been below 140 (they've been 158, 140, and 167); I've been craving fruits and veggies, not meat (although did give in to one craving for In 'N Out!); and I've expanded throughout my midsection, not just popping out in front (I'm a very thin and don't gain wait normally so I'm sure this is due to the little one on the way!). All the wives' tales tests predicted girl except the chinese prediction which said boy.

Thank you. It was a huge relief and I burst into tears when I hung up the phone with the genetic counselor. I still get tears in my eyes right now to think about how lucky I am to be having a healthy baby!

I'm so glad! I had wondered how you were doing...congrats! I've only got 18 days left until my widdle bundle is due!
