can I still get pregnant

Am a 40-yr old trying to have a successful pregnancy. Already G3P0 and am currently under the help of a Perinatologist. I was found to have APAS: KCT=75 sec, APTT=40 sec, and DRVVT=37sec; ACA: IgG=143 GPL units/ml and IgM=62 MPLunits/ml. Also have a translocation b/n chromosomes 2 and 13. The geneticist advised me that I only have 50% successful pregnancy due to this, but it is now lesser due to my age and my blood condition. I want to gamble with whatever remaining chance I have, do you think I can still really get pregnant? Thanks!

I'm sorry, I don't understand your test results either.  I can say that age should not deter you...many of us have had successful pregnancies at 40.  And if your Dr. is saying 50% change you can do it, well, that would be enough for me to give it a try.  Good luck to you.

I am not really sure what anything you mentioned above means.... but maybe someone on here might as we are not doctors.. but you could also try to post on the fertility site as there are more woman there trying to get pregnant as well.  I wish you luck.
