I take that back. My paperwork says my doctor had some tissue. But what she left they will, get for their study
Well that ***** that they won't talk to you about it! And you're welcome!! It's hard going through something like that, especially if it's the unexpected. I had my miscarriage a long time ago and I looked at it as, it wasn't meant to happen, which I was okay with because 4 months after that loss I had a beautiful baby girl (she's 14 now and I was 17 at the time of having her). I've always believed things happen for a reason, even if they aren't good, there's always some purpose or lesson for it all :) I'm sure in a year from now you will be able to conceive again and everything will be perfect!
I just assume I had a bad egg. Since it was a complete molar pregnancy. I did tho donate the tissue mass. The hospital does test and studies on it. A guy actually came in the room and talked to me about it. I said yes. But he said they wouldn't talk to me about it.
thank you meganmalie
I'm sorry to hear about Your miscarriage
When they do the blood testing they might find out if you're lacking some vitamins but I'm sure they sent the tissue to a lab to be tested so maybe they can let you know what or how it happened. Webmd.com has awesome information on molar pregnancy and can probably get you filled in on more info and also maybe bring up some questions you can ask the doctor on Monday. I would definitely be like you and want to know everything! So sorry this happened to you, I've had a miscarriage so I know the feeling of loss but what you went through blows!
I sent the specialist monday. To be more specific
I'm on birth control now. They said I can't conceive for a year or longer. It was a complete molar pregnancy. I was going to talk to the doctor mknday about the waiting time. I had the d&c at a cancer facility. They never said what caused it
I've never had one but done some research and they say you're not supposed to conceive 6-12 months after you've had the molar pregnancy removed and it also depends on if you had a partial or complete molar pregnancy. You should be on birth control to make sure you don't get pregnant during this period of time and the doctor should've also given you medicine to take for the next 6-12 months as well as your regular blood work because if all the tissue hasn't gone, you can develop cancer besides an infection that can possibly cause sterility. Besides it possibly being genetic or two sperms entered one egg, it says it can also be caused by a vitamin deficiency of carotene. Did your doctor find what possibly may have caused it?
