got my hcg back

Hey everybody! Good news. Got my 7 week hcg levels back.  Friday they were 52,522 and today it is 67,556. At 7 weeks it should be between 7,650 - 229,000.  I heard the higher the hcg the better chance you have of carrying a girl. Has anybody experienced that. I'm thinking since its kind of in the middle its probably a boy.  The nurse said it was really really good levels though.

Congratulations.    I hadn't heard the higher or lower HCG levels either for baby gender, just the heartbeat.    I have a little girl and now pg with a little boy and the heartbeat proved true for me.    My daughters was ALWAYS above 150, usually in the 160's and my little boys is ALWAYS in the 130's.    My HCG levels were higher than normal with him, so that throws that theory out that boys are lower there, but I didn't get HCG levels done with my daughter, so I don't know what hers would have been.

Congrats wishing you a healthy nine months...I had an U/S and the heart rate was 141, and the Tech said I bet you it's a boy...So we will have to wait and see:-)

congrats on your excelent progress, i had bad heart burn 1st time outta 6 kids and he was my only baby born with decent hair amount, ive heard fast heart rate mean's girl and well im sceptical on that one only because ive not experianced my self!!! best of luck and keep us up to date with the sexing lol

Congrats!  Sounds like things are going well for you.  You know, I have heard that but not from any legitimate source or anything.  Sort of like hearing if you have heartburn baby has lots of hair.  I can tell you though, my hcg levels were on the low side of normal and I had a boy.  So who knows?  Maybe there is something to it.

Congrats!  LOL...I have no idea about the high vs low being boy or girl, but just wanted to say congrats!!  I've only heard of the heart rate...higher means girl and lower means boy.  But my OB dismissed this the last time I saw her...so who knows!!??  :)
