My DH is truly a great guy.  However, like most men he can say really dumb things sometimes..lol.  We were discussing the merits of C section vs. natural labour.  Yes, I know, a lot ahead of ourselves, but we figure its going to happen eventually...here is his comment on the whole issue..

"well honey, I think c-section is probably better, because honestly, I am not keen on the whole idea of standing around there for 8 or 9 hours..."

I had no idea my head could spin around and do a complete 360 like that..lol.  And I also found out in addition to being part rabbit, I must be part dragon because fire literally came out of my mouth.  I was pretty much speechless, and the only thing I could come up with was.."YOUR not crazy about  the STANDING AROUND idea??"  He shut up then...lol.  Smart man.

I told my DH I was pg for the 1st time (after 18mos TTC) on April 1 (i.e., April Fool's Day) by giving him an early birthday present: a book entitled, "What to Expect When Your Wife Is Expanding."

OMG, Sheri, that has me laughing even harder.  Are you kidding me??  The funniest thing about DH's comment is that he truly thought he was being supportive, as my OB has already recommended C-section when the time always comes.  I was dissapointed because I would like to try it naturally.  But "that thing stretched out" has to be one of the funniest I have ever heard.  I think we should all get together and write a self help book for men...we can title it "What never to say to your wife with regards to pregnancy and childbirth" or something like that.  We would all make a fortune!!!  Lol
