I had to have a spinal for my C section and honestly it wasn't nearly as scary as I thought it would be. Of course not being able to feel anything was weird but I would just say try to relax as best you can and let your nurse know you are nervous. Good luck mama!

I am the biggest wimp u could ever meet and I hate needles but getting the injection into it back is easier than the venflon into your hand, ask them for a pillow before having it put in I bit down into it to stop me crying and moving gave me something else to think about, hope all goes well xxx

The getting the epidual was a little uncomfortable, but not too bad. It did make my blood pressure drop and I got really dizzy and nauseous. I told my husband and he told the dr. They very quickly gave me meds to get my bp back up. It apparently happened very quickly, but it felt like everything was in slow motion for me.
