I think it's getting closer.. YAY!!

Had a doctors appointment today and I was measuring 36 weeks!?! So they set me up for an ultrasound Tuesday the 8th to check Brayden's weight and to see how much amniotic fluid is in there.. if all goes well and he is at good weight they will do another fFN test and if it comes back positive they will admit me and induce!! YAY!! It isn't that I want him to come early.. but I am just so freaking scared that I will go into labor clear out here alone and not be able to get to the hospital in time! OhhoOOhh I can't wait til the ultrasound!!! I'm so excited!!

Oh.. and I haven't gained anymore weight.. still at 14.. YAY.. excited about that too!

YIPEE I'm gettign so excited for you and lil Saraya was born at 35w6d and is GREAT so ealry is better since you can hold them sooner LOL  I understand what you mean if I would have had to wait more than an hour  after my water broke for my epidural I would have killed someone LOL and during that time I took a shower and my hospital is 10 mins away...
so do we have a baby yet?

Patty - your dh's a dream, girl!  And your dd's a sweetheart also - my dd did all of the baby's laundry last week so I shan't complain.  She's been a little sweetie but yesterday her teacher told us that she's extremely worried that we will ignore her when Noah comes.  I feel awful!!  I've told her over and over that she's still my 'baby girl' but I guess I'll just have to show her :-((.

Now I am worried I will have this baby before I even stop working and go on disability. She said if I were to go full term, he will be a large baby

montie- I know it seems like just yesterday that we all came over from Fertility!  know what you mean about being a little sad! I too am a little sad that the pregnancy is coming to an end.. but like you said.. we will all have our lil babies in our arms safe and sound! YAY!!

Jen- Let me tell you, it hasn't been easy and DH has sure been a trooper. He works his fannt off during the week and when he comes home on the weekends he gets quite a few orders from me. And the taxes weren't too bad, he knows all his business stuff so he gets everything ready and printed out and I drop it off at the Tax center!.. wait for the dreaded call to see how much we owe and then take them a check! My DD has been such a blessing! She helps me A LOT! But she doesn't mind, she's getting more excited to meet Brayden as the days go by! We won't have a nursery until we get the addition built on in a couple months but that's okay because Brayden is going to be my bed buddy for a while anyways.. makes BFing easier! I'm getting so excited!!

Gosh, Patty, I'm soo jealous of you getting to have Brayden in your arms so quickly!  I didn't realize it but you really are in the middle of nowhere!!  No wonder you're so concerned -  I hope Brayden's ready to go after the 8th so you can get induced and get off that horrible medicene.

I can't believe you have everything all ready to go....I thought I was ready, but girl, you beat me!!  I'm trying to get our tax stuff together for our accountant and am going crazy - I wish I would do a better job of keeping up w/stuff during the year :-((.  Anyway, that 's my excuse for my house being a mess.  The nursery's done (well, almost) so at least we have a place for him to sleep - LOL.  I'll keep you in my prayers that you make it until the 8th and then they can admit you and induce - jen (36 weeks)

Patty, I'm so excited for you. I hope that he cooks a little longer but I totally understand your concern.  We know our bodies and I knew that my baby would come early.  I s told the dr and he still tried to schedule my c-section at 39 wks 1day.  I knew I wouldn't make it.  You know your body and with what has been going on with you, it's very likely that you will go into labor early.  Good luck and I'm sure little Brayden will be just fine.

It seems like yesterday that you, Reno, Shersherm, Tanker Chic, and several others were all discussing our pregnancies and now we are done and our babies are here.  I'm so glad to have Rhett here, safe, sound and healthy, but it's kind of sad to me that it's over.  Hmmm.

I wanted to clarify something after I wrote this.. My son is perfectly fine today. My water broke at home.. I went to the hospital, they gave me an epidural and then I couldn't move from the waist down for HOURS so he was losing oxygen. When he was born he wasn't breathing correctly and they gave him an Apgar score of 3... so they had to work on him for a little while. But he was perfectly fine after 20 minutes! .. That's why we are being a little more cautious this time.

Didn't want to freak anyone out thinkin that maybe he didn't make it or something.. and all turned out great in the end!

Hey Ladies-
Sandi and Delma- I would like to keep him in there longer but if he measures at a good weight and I am further along then I won't mind being induced. There are a lot of things running against me... I can't take the meds to stop labor because it is killing me..lol.. not killing me exactly but it makes me vomit like there is no tomorrow and gives me blisters in my mouth from vomiting!...  We just got our house built in May 07 and our address isn't found on any map quests or anything so it doesn't register with the 911 system yet.... When I had my son 10 years ago, he was basically clinically dead, we do not want that to happen way out in the boonies or along the freeway!  ....And my husband is working 2 hours away remodeling a bathroom and the people are understanding sure but when you are paying someone 60 grand you would like it to be done asap..lol.. He is planning on taking time off.. but would like for me to wait a little longer.. ahaha

So basically, the authorities told me that they can't guarantee that they will be able to find our address.  So. YES we have decided that if I look like I am going to go they are going to admit me and induce.. ONLY if the time is right and ONLY if Brayden is big enough!

Teresa- I am already ready, bags packed, care seat installed, house cleaned.. ready for whatever may come. I am staying in bed.. I think maybe staying in bed a little too much.. when I get up I ache now..lol

My sister told me I have to wait until at least after the weekend.. My baby shower is Saturday and my daughter told me I have to wait til a couple more weeks because my birthday is the 14th and hers is the 18th.. she doesn't want me to have him on those days.. So.. he has been given orders by many people.. lets see who he listens too....... ahahaha

Kellie- I am excited about the ultrasound! I loveeeeee those things!!

Just pray for me that he is okay IN CASE I do go into labor again!

glad to hear all is well. now you can relax some. still take it easy and try to stay in the bed. I would think you would fill in a panac and start doing things to get ready.. if you havent already... but dont!!!  keep your LITTLE a$$ in the bed...lol I say little because of the 14lb... get it??? ha ha congrats...
