Update on 36 week appt

Oh my goodness, I am 36 weeks today and had my U/S yesterday and the little guy is huge--about 7 lbs 1oz and growing--now I am worried how he is going to get out

Mine were 9.4 and 10.5 pounds and came out c-section because they never dropped. (I have a few friends who have delivered 9 pound babies no problem though.)  I like big babies because they seem very healthy to me and can better withstand that 1 pound initial weight loss over those first few days. Plus, my hubby wasn't as afraid to hold our good size babies. I don't know what he would have done with a little 6 or 7 pounder.  :-)

How do people get big babies out for Pete's sake?

My baby boy is 5.5 lbs already, at 32 weeks!  They say he's wayyy bigger than average. But, I guess I can blame that on daddy! He's 6'3'', 270lbs.  I've got another u/s scheduled on the 29 th (34weeks) to see how huge he is then!  I'm extremely worried about just the same thing..delivery!  If he doesn't stop growing like that, I hope they're gonna do a c-section.....

OUCH! my girl is a chunker too! she's up to 7 and some change at 37 weeks... so I feel for you girl!
The doc said that if i deliver on time she'll probably be around 8 to 9 pounds!!! OOUUUUUCH!!! it hurts my hoo hoo just to think about that!

I hope as hell i am 'flexible' down there otherwise..... my insides will come out with her and my outsides will be in like a wore sock!

i hope they can realize the last minute that if they come this big, they will have to do a Csection, otherwise, i'm really scared about babies that get stuck.... =S

they say the u/s can be off by 11oz either way... hopfully yours isn't 11oz more hahah

my son was born 3 weeks early and was 6 lbs 10 oz

My husband thinks it is because this baby was IVF, but I doubt that is the reason, right?

Mind you I am only 5' 1" and small frame so I look like a big basketball

got yourself a big one!!!! mine was 6.2 at 35.1 weeks I could not imagine going f ull term.. they would of never got mine out...lol good luck!

Well I we KNOW he HAS to come up out of there......LOL......a little too late to worry about that now (smile)...............Congrats, I can't wait until I'm 36 weeks, I'm ONLY 14 weeks, soooooooo long to go.......congrats
