13 wks pregnant and bladder pressure

I am 13 wks pregnant and have pressure in my bladder area especially when I have to urinate. Many times I have that feeling all night. It almost feels like my uterus is contracting. Has anyone experienced this? Should I be concerned? I had pre-term labor with both of my children. It started at 4 months with my last son (who is now 13yrs old). I was really hoping after all these years things would have changed....

Ok thanks ladies! I did have my ob appt Nov 29th and my urine didn't show any infection...and I was having the same feeling. I had forgotten to ask him (because we were so excited to hear the hb on the doppler) lol!!

I am 27 turning 28 weeks and i have had that pressure since the beginning of my pregnancy and still have it.My angel is breech right now but she is kicking my bladder like crazy the doct said. I also had pre-term labor with my last wich is now 9. I agree with happynifer just to be safe you should ask your doct but i don't think you have anything to worry about.

definitely worth an appointment to make sure you don't have a UTI...
but my baby had her head crammed against my bladder starting at about 12 weeks and hasn't left that spot (i'm 37 weeks) so it may just be that.
and mild cramping is normal as your uterus is stretching out.
better to be safe than sorry though and call your midwife/ob
