Baby Hiccups

Hi All!
I'm 28 weeks pregnant, feeling lots of movement but no baby hiccups yet! Is it too early or is it that my baby doesnt get hiccups?

I felt hiccups by week 25 or 26, but not all babies get the hiccups. I've found that it is indicative of how they will be when they are born. My first and the present pregnancy had almost daily hiccups and my daughter got the hiccups every time she ate once she was born. I can't remember my second ever having the hiccups and once he was born, He never seemed to get them. He woold burp constantly though. LOL.

I'm honestly not sure if I ever felt something I could identify as hiccups (although he sure gets them now..lol).  Always lots of movement and kicks, so that was good though.

If you are feeling movement regularly, I wouldn't worry.  Baby may very well have the hiccups regularly and you just aren't recognizing it.

BTW....I never felt hiccups I could identify and DS never really had colic...perhaps a happy link there??  Maybe this is a good thing...

I did not start feeling hiccups until after 32 weeks so I would not worry.

I didn't really start feeling hiccups until last week or maybe the week before. I am now 34 1/2 weeks so it may be that your little one is like mine and just didn't really get hiccups until later.
