Baby's Position

If baby is breech at 31 weeks, how likely is it that she will turn on her own? Any advice about manually turning her?

My first finally got into position a week before her arrival at 37 weeks. Will remember these tricks in case I need them this time around!! :-)

I am having the same issue. I am 31 weeks almost 32 with breech baby. I just started labour and delivery classes. My teacher told me some tricks to move baby.
1. Get a flashlight and shine it low on the belly where you want baby. Baby might follow the light.
2. Cold pack where head is and hot pack where you want it to be.
3. Yoga pose called umm... I think posing child. You are on your knees leaning forward back and bum arched. Do that for about 3 mins.

I have been doing the flashlight every night for the last 2 nights and I feel like he is slowly moving into the right place.
I go for an ultrasound on Monday to see where he is.

There are old sayings that if you want your baby to turn you need to talk to her and ask her to turn. It actually worked for me. I also read that music will help and it's a very safe way to make your baby turn. Play a very loud music and using a headphone, place it to the side of your abdomen and slowly move it downwards towards your pubic bone. There is a chance that the baby will want to come towards the sound. It will also help a lot to ask assistance from a doctor or a registered midwife. Good luck and God bless! :-)

The baby most likely will turn, if not the doctor can try to turn , if that doesn't work well than you already know the answer is csection, but don't worry it's normal. My Cousin just had the same issue and he turned the last few weeks. Best of luck

The ultrasound tech told me they can turn even after you go into labor. There is still time.
