i'm 48 and think i'm pregnant

I haven't any insurance or money to go to a gyno just to see if I am pregnant or not. I was wondering can I just go to my family Dr. and get blood work done without seeing a Doctor?

Yes.. PamelaBee is right... Planned Parenthood able to help you out. If you don't have any income or insurance, they can help... or you can apply for Public Assistant.... and go WIC (Woman Infant Children) program where you live and apply for the service..

good luck.

I would do a HPT (Home Pregnancy Test) first.  If positive, you could go to a planned parenthood in your area for little or no cost services.  Best wishes to you!

Your family doctor can order the bloodwork as well as a gynecologist.  Doctors however are the only ones that can order lab work.  Have you taken a hpt?
