17 months with our first and we conceived in the first month with our second.
It took me 8 total months to get pregnant after getting off the pill. But, in the 4th month, I had a chemical pregnancy.
Ivf got pregnant first go, very excited household here..
With DS, we weren't trying - he was a happy surprise :-)
With this baby, we were successful in the second month of trying.
1st child was a surpise baby
2nd child took two months
current pregnancy took two months
I voted 3-6 months...
1st pregnancy, 3m...ended in mc
2nd pregnancy immediately started ttc after mc took us 7 looooong months
1st one was a suprise and with daniel it took us ten months!! It was the month we decided to stop trying! haha
It took me 6 months with my son and now after 11 1/2 years and 34 years old it took us 1 month and here I am 17 weeks along. I guess I got better with age. LOL
I'm 25 years old, and it took 10 months before I conceived FINALLY! We tried every month to conceive and it wasn't happening, then when I thought all hope was lost, BAM! BFP!! :)
I was obscenely lucky, been off the pill 1 week longer than pregnant lol
First was unplanned, but 2nd and 3rd we conceived the first month we tried. Last August, we conceived again on the first try but miscarried, then conceived again immediately after. We just had baby #4 three weeks ago. = )
I know this is not the norm, and I feel very blessed.
we decided to start trying in late february -early march
and in april had a positive test
I got preggo the first time accidentally on the pill..........they switched my brand and I wasn't aware we had to be careful. I know now, lol.
Second pregnancy we tried for and we got preggo w/in the first month of stopping the pill.
Third (and current) pregnancy was yet again an accident on the pill from switching brands. We were careful and I even took the plan B pill also and we still got pregnant. I am still baffled as to how this one happened! We decided we are extremely fertile people.....hubby is getting a vasectomy very soon:) LOL
My best friend however, tried for her first baby for almost 2 years--I guess you just never know..
I got pregnant within about 4 months of going off the pill (was on it for 7 1/2 years), but that ended in a m/c. Then it took another 5 months after that to conceive again. So in total it was 9 months of TTC before having a successful pregnancy.
3+ years with first......4 months with second (second wasnt trying)
Different for each.
1st daughter was conceived within 2 months but we weren't trying.
2nd daughter was conceived on first try.
3rd daughter was conceived on first try, without trying.
But the baby I conceived between daughter 2 and 3 took 13 months to conceive.
With Noah we werent trying but at the same time we weren't preventing either, I was preggo within 3 months off bc.
With Evan it also took 3 months after I went off bc.
It took me 9 1/2 months to get preggo after being on the pills for 2 years.
You need to add some longer months to your poll. :)
9 months with my daughter and 5 months with this pregnancy.
With my first who is 14, i was in my parents home and i was using protection, soon as i moved into my own place at age 17 i stopped using protection with my BF, i figured heck im grown in my own place. A year later i was preggo and looking real stupid, bcuz i didnt really want a baby, b ut i guess if your not using protection those things can happen.
I had a m/c in june, we were not trying but we were not taking anything to prevent it either,(i think i was off of birthcontrol for 6 months when we got preggo, i was on them for a year b4 getting off). After the m/c we started ttc in august, and we tried each month until a BFP, which came in january, now im 36 weeks. I must say, it was very stressful ttc.
My Bestfriend was on birthcontrol for 5 years, year one went pass after getting off birthcontrol and they tried for 2years, she started seeing an endocrinologist and had all these appts and screenings coming up, dr told her to just keep trying until they start doing the test, a week b4 her appt, she got a BFP and is now 5 months with a little boy and this is there first child.
It took us 2-3 months of actively trying to get pregnant, then had a miscarriage. got preggo again right away and miscarried again. Then 2 months later finally got preggo with Jeremiah. So...it took 8 months to finally conceive him! This one was a suprise! lol
7 yrs with the first. Pregnant within 1 month with the second.
Both my pregnancies were unexpected; however, knowing that sex can cause pregnancy, I also knew with each pregnancy that I risked that chance. I've never tried to conceive voluntarily, but each time I've gotten pregnant, I knew I was at my ovulation time.
With my first son, my ex bf and I were being stupid and using no bc (he was supposed to pull out but decided not to and admitted to me 2 years later he did it on purpose, but oh well, because Trev has been the light of my life ever since).
With this pregnancy, my fiance and I did use bc, and I was pretty shocked that I got pregnant, but of course knew there was always that slim chance it could happen--and it did.
I have no idea how long I might have to ttc if I actually wanted to ttc. I suppose I can always see what happens a few years down the road from now, if I ever get a chance to actually "plan" another pregnancy, lol.
