Is this a girl or a boy?? take a look at the pic and PLEASE RESPOND

I was told I was having a boy at 12 weeks, then at my 17.5 week ultrasound they said it was a girl.  I'm 22 weeks now and having an early family baby shower and my family just sent out pink invites.  I guess I'm just worried..  Please take a look at the pic and let me know your thoughts!!!

I thought I saw a penis on my sons u/s at 12 weeks and the doctor told me that all babies have bumps down there at 12 weeks so most of them at this point look like boys.  That may be the reason for the confusion at the earlier u/s.  I'd go with girl.

yes it is!!  i love the little dvd they make for you!!  i've watched it so many times i can't believe i haven't worn it out yet!  the place that i went gives discounts/ungrades if you go 2xs in the same pregnancy so fortunately when i go for the my originally scheduled sono at 29 weeks i will get upgraded since i made an emergency (paranoid over baby's gender) visit a few weeks ago ;-)  i also think the 3d/4d will be really neat for the children to see when they get older.

The 3D ultrasound is SO fun. Expensive, but fun!!!

girl, i went thru the same thing!  i freaked out and convinced myself that the doctors were somehow wrong at my 18 wk sono.  so, i went for an early 3d/4d for gender determination at 20wks and paid $90 for them to tell me it was definitely a girl...to me, it was money well spent because it eased my mind!  your baby's bottom looks exactly like my baby's bottom...i would say it's a girl...you can see the labia which they pointed out with my girl baby.

most definately looks like a girl to me...I've had two girls and working on my 3rd boy and I'd have to say in my not - so "expert" opinion that its most definately a girl.

2 docs looked at the ultrasound and said the same thing..  but she had both her legs right in front.

I'm thinking you have a little girl. The 3d scan will be quite definitive though. No mistaking it then. Funny how we spend so much time staring at it before they are born and the rest of their lives trying to hide it... Tee-Hee :)

Thanks :)  I have a doc appt tomorrow, maybe they can set me up for another ultrasound.. :)  I wanna be sure..  getting the 3d scan done probably in 3-4 weeks..

it's a girl my grandmother who taught u/s for 28 years even says it's definitly a girl she puts it this way if it looks like a taco it's a girl if it looks like a turte it's a boy congrats

I have all boys, so I know what the penis and what not look like, and they don't look like that, so by elimination I'd say girl :) Congrats!!!

If her "parts" are the bright white area on the right-hand side, between the legs, that definitely looks like a girl! If you're still worried or unsure, you could always get a 3D ultrasound during weeks 24-26. That's what helped confirm previous ultrasounds for me!

That's a girl, cuz it's similar to what my pic of her "Parts" looks like.
I would chuck the 12 week one out the window cuz that is sooooo sooooooo early for them to tell you such a thing cuz really, it's hard to tell.
I'd DEFF go w/ the 17.5 week one because the baby is bigger, they can see it for clearly, and it's more accurate.
