High Blood Pressure

Has anyone else had high blood pressure during their pregnancy?? I had my 28 week check-up today and my OB said it was slightly elevated and wants to see me again next week. He also requested extra bloods when I had them taken for my glucose but didnt tell me what he wanted it for. Has anyone else experienced anything like this??

Thanks ladies. Was just really confused when I walked out. Dr didnt really explain much and this is my first pregnancy so its all new.

I did yes. I had lots taken to check it I felt like a pin cushion x hope ur ok x

When I went for my 30week appointment my blood pressure was high, they kept me in for a few hours to rest and then I could leave after 2hours. I had to go in the next week to check again but then my high blood pressure was fine after that. It wasn't high again, it was just that time. Good luck to u, try to rest as much as u can

Yep. I had it with my first at 28wks, bp meds bought my 7wks before severe preeclamplsia kicked in. This time from 15wks but because they caught it early hoping to get to 36wks. If it doesn't go to preeclamplsia tho there is a good chance to make it to 38wks. That was the plan both times for me.

Did you have extra bloods taken??

I had high blood pressure and it turned into mild pre eclampsia I was induced 3 weeks early x
