injection to mature baby's lungs

Hey guys thanks for your prayers.  Has anyone on here gotten daily injections in their hips to help baby's lung mature faster in case baby comes too early.  Am now on this injection at the hospital I just want to know the outcome for other moms who experienced it.

I had that 13 years ago with my 1 one but that help a lot but he need to stay at the hospital for 15 days cuz he had some complications but he is a helathy boy and very smart. Good luck to you mama.

I've had it this week (26) one shot and then a second after 24hours.
I had it on first baby too.

Not myself but my sister had the shots 11 years ago a week before delivering my twin nieces at 26 weeks. They did have complications, but they were born at 26 weeks. Now they're beautiful, healthy, happy girls.

I'm 32wks had tribuline as well and 2 shots been on bedrest so hopefully she stays in longerrr better to be prepared

With my first they only had time to give me one shot.  He was born at 33 weeks and his lungs were just fine!  It'll all turn out. :)

I had two twenty four hours apart while on magnesium blah! That was at 32 weeks now I'm 36 and my little guy is doing great and growing strong! My doc says he's looking for the exit because he moves so much lol

Ive gotten Tribuline to stop my contractions and two steriods shots to help mature her lungs this pass week. Those shots hurt like a mother but I heard they help tremendously. I was 32 weeks and I'll be 34 weeks Tomorrow.  Made it that far but still havent passed my labor day with my daughter. I had her at 35 weeks. I feel tons of pressure and tightness and cramps and low back pain.  And with the way I have been feeling I wont go to my due date.

I had with my son at 28wks and again at 34wks because the two injections only last up to 10days. He was born at 35wks and only needed 1wk nicu for breathing and feeding and no problems 16mths later. I'm 27wks and went into preterm labour this week and am still in hospital,  was given the shots Monday night and Tursday morning in case I deliver in the next 7-10days.

I had to have it with my son 6 years ago at 24wks. Everything went well. I ended up delivering him at 35 weeks but he was born super healthy with no issues at all we were discharged 24 hours after delivery :)

I only ever had 2 injections a day apart in my hip to help with the babies lungs. He came out screaming I don't think the drs expected that. But he was on a ventilator and oxygen less then 24 hrs :)
