The thing I have found isn't the numbers themselves but the gains. My dr has diagnosed iugr. The actual numbers aren't what they are tracking for me as much as it is the amount of growth between checks. The gains baby is making are a good sign :) you may just have a small baby.

If the dr were concerned they usually would schedule another ultrasound to track. But I agree with the last post. Sit in the dr office and ask questions until you are clear. The drs have a bad habit of acting like we all went to med school. Make him be clear. Good luck

How many weeks r u? & what is ur bump measurement? Usually ur bump will measure the same in cm/inches can't remember witch from top to bottom as it wud in weeks eg: if ur 30 weeks ur bump wud b 30 also.....my eldest son measured small I was measuring 22 at 27 weeks so the docs gave me steroids to help with His growth, he still never caught up to where he shud b but at 35 weeks was just over 2 weeks behind in growth, they estimated he wud b 6lb2oz but he was born 5 days early weighing 5lb.5 0z! Perfectly healthy tho :) & soon caught up he ate every 2 & half hours & was a real porker by 4 months lol he's now 12 & taller than me! (I'm5ft 2ins) I don't think u need to be worried but ask ur doc at ur next visit to explain everything to u, doctor talk is way to confusing & can leave u feeling silly 4 asking! But don't its ur baby u need to no :) good luck
