Going for first u/s

I am 12w1d and am going for my first u/s this afternoon. I am both excited and scared because of a m/c I had a year ago at 7 weeks. I was spotting and went to ER and they said the baby's heartbeat had stopped at 5 weeks. The Dr. assured me that everything is fine this time since no spotting and have all preggo symptoms (which I didn't have with the m/c) , though they haven't even checked for a heartbeat or anything yet. I have only seen my OB once so far and that was at 8 weeks and my next appointment isn't until the end of the week. Wish me luck, ladies, and I will post an update when I get home this evening. :)

Good luck at the u/s!  Everything will be perfectly fine!
Cannot wait to see the pix and hear about the heart rate!!

That is sooo exciting. I understand your fears though as we have had 2 m/c's. This preg has been very diff for me too - nausea, peeing alot and starving....all great signs. As long as you have the preg signs, Id say it will all go great, Good luck! You will see a whole baby today on the screen :)  soooo exciting. Keep us posted.
