Are you ready for the baby?

Hi Ladies. I know a few of you are almost at term and am wondering how everyone is feeling. This is my second child but I am so nervous. I feel like I have forgotten everything about having a baby.I am excited to meet my daughter and am trying to imagine what she looks like.

as far as having the stuff for her I am pretty much ready! I still need to get a breastpump, a few more recieving blankets and more diapers, but other than that I think I am set atleast for now! but I still have a lot of cleaning and organizing I want to get done on the house before the baby comes! I'm only 34 weeks today, so i should have a little while still to finish gettign ready, but my baby has already dropped and I am contracting a lot and dialated to 2cm, so who knows for sure when she will come. also I don't know about the rest of you, but i am also getting more tired again, i have less energy than last month even, so it's making ti harder to get things done!

Oh yes, definitely. I am so ready to meet my boy. At the same time I'm nervous and anxious. I want to be a good parent. I've never had any babies before but I'm pretty sure I'll get the hang of it as I walk the walk. I'm also nervous about labor pain. I have such low tolerance for pain I'm not sure how my body will react to it. I'm trying to get my mind ready so my body can follow.

I'm 34 weeks and just came back from my OB appt. Doctor wants to see me every week now. Baby is head down and measuring just fine. I think he is also ready. We are both just ready to do this.

I can honestly say "no! I'm not ready for baby!". I'm more worried about taking care of him afterwards, this is my first child and i am having so many anxieties in regards to everything. I wonder if i will be a good mother, if i will swaddle or dress him right, do i have enough clothes, what if i dont produce any breast milk, etc. I was measuring 4 weeks ahead at my appt 2 weeks ago and i go tomorrow to get an u/s. So hopefully Chandler decides to wait till the 21st at least! Lol

I just passed the 37 week mark yesterday. I'm with Steph_b - nervous about childbirth and all those changes that are going to happen afterward. But excited, too. I'm lucky in that I'm not overly uncomfortable yet with the pregnancy. I'm totally amazed every time I look at my big belly, thinking that there's a whole other human being in there, and I'm going to get to meet it soon!

My husband and I made some decisions yesterday about a couple of things we should buy (and some things we should get rid of!) to make the baby's room work well and be a nice space for all of us to hang out in.

I have a big work deadline this Thursday, but after that this kid can come out anytime and things will be fine. So... ready for baby? Not really - I'd be happy if it stayed in at least until its Aug 1 due date so that more things could get done beforehand. But if it wants to come out sooner, that's OK with me, too. :)

I am 36w3d and I am so ready to be done being pregnant mostly just because of the pain I have in my hips. But I know once the baby comes its going to be a lot of work with all that is going on with DD already...but I can do it!! Everytime I think about how close I am my stomach gets in knots. Its kinda bittersweet I guess.

I was full term yesterday, and not completly ready for ashlynn, but I'm ready to not be pregnant. I'm nervous for labor, childbirth,  parenting, and how my relationship with my husband will change, but overall I know it will all work out and I'm so excited to meet my little one!

I am full term tomorrow (37 weeks) =)
I think I am as ready as I can be... I am excited, nervous, and so over being pregnant.  I am most nervous about how it's going to change my life and if I am going to be a good mother vs. child birth and caring for him.  I cannot wait to see what he looks like and put a face with the little guy who has beating me up from the inside these past 9 months haha.

I really haven't thought of labor, except that I"m nervous, even tho this will be my third kid. I'm not all ready yet for the baby. I still have a couple things to get.. just the swing and a pack n play.. I can't get those till next weekend.

I'll find out from my dr on thurs. whether I'll be induced in approx. 10 days or 14 days. I am 35 1/2 weeks.

I'm very excited to know what my son looks like. I know he's going to have long thick hair. I saw that on ultrasound.. I'm curious to know how much he'll weigh.
