Doctor appointment update

Well Yesterday all the waiting was finally over. I got in to see my doctor and get the results from the Ultra Sound. I asked him if everything was okay and he said to me "They didn't tell you?" I said "NO!" and that I have been worrying myself that there was a problem. He said that everything looks perfect. The baby measured at 6w3days. That the fetal heartbeat was seen. He reassured me that the cramping and pains that I am experiencing are normal. So Now my next appointment is Jan 6th. He said at that time we should be able to hear the baby's heartbeat. If not then we will schedule another ultrasound. I was so relieved. He said my numbers are okay that will my history we are just monitoring everything. I am so happy.

OK now don't think I am nuts when I tell this to you all, but I have to share it. Yesterday late afternoon I started what must be a cold. I am coughing from way down deep. My back is sore from coughing so much. I worry about coughing so hard it pushes the baby out. I know it seems silly to even think this but I can't help it. I wish this cough would go away :(

Oh yes according to the ultra sound My due date is now August 3rd. By my LMP it would have been Aug 1st, but he is using the August 3 date. I am not sure when I will have the baby though. I am thinking that I will have to have a planned c-section again.

thanks for listening everyone :)

Yay congrats :)
Even seeing that little heart beat is a relief.
Did they tell you what your baby's heart rate was?  The reason I ask is because I got to see my baby's heart on the 11th.  They said everything was great and it was 113 per minute.  I was 6 weeks 2 days at the time.  I get the ultrasound result, and they remarked that the heart rate was a little "low"???  Every where I read online said between 100-115 was good for early 6 weeks and it's not out of the norm for you to not see it at all?  Just wanted some comparison to ease my little worriness.

I will be thinking of you songinmind. I understand though about something not feeling right. I too feel the same way. I think it is like I told my doctor I am afraid to think that I am pregnant and everything is ok in fear of losing the baby. I dont want to get my hopes up and then hurt. Seems silly but when you have lost children I think it is natural.

We sure are all blessed though. Praying that everything works out for us all :)

And yes Miracle I cant wait to hear the sound of my childs heart beating either :) Its such a wonderful reassuring sound :)

Yeah, Northgal-  I'm so happy everything turned out to be fine!  Definitely a great present for this Christmas season.

Keep your fingers crossed for me, one week till the US.  Something still doesn't feel right to me, but I'm trying to be positive.
