I was so sure last time that I wanted to find out, I had the ultrasound place picked out and everything, but then I was talking to a lady I nanny for and she found out for one of her kids and not the other and she said she preffered not knowing, not only does it give you motivation to see your baby during labor but she said it was just so special to wait. So I have totally changed my mind, however much i would love a video of the baby moving around in my tummy I will wait to see him/her in person.
It's not wrong to know and not tell anyone else if you can keep the secret! I think it would be hard not sharing that information. My sister in law did that and they swore they would not tell and about halfway through they ended up spilling
I have always found out and the hubby and kids do not want too... I hate not knowing either I think it will drive me nuts... :) Like you ladies said I like to plan and pick stuff out. Would it be worng and not tell anyone I know :} so I could make blankies and such ...
Thank you all for responding would it be so wrong if i found out and didnt tell anyone what they were, I told hubby I might do that but he said he does not want to know
We will find out as we did with our son who is almost 14 months. As we already have everything for a boy it will help to know if we need to go and buy more clothes. As far as the car seat goes, they usually will not let the baby leave the hospital without a car seat , but you can always buy a neutral one and get a nicer gender appropriate cover when you have had the baby.
I'm finding out for sure. I'm impatient and I'm not a big fan of gender neutral clothing (too much beige imo). Also going to do chromosome analysis as soon as possible (assuming I don't miscarry first) since this pregnancy has been so abnormal...
I like finding out, so I can plan colors and themes, i like to know as soon as i can! i do know people who did what to find out and they thought it was great to be surprised, so i think it is just what you want or like individually. I am very curious and can't wait.
I am finding out I couldn't handle not knowing when I have the chance to know the suspense would drive me crazy :)
