Anyone starting to nest?

How many ladies have nested or are starting to nest? How far along were you when you started, and what things did you feel you just HAD to get done?

Also, for already mommas, how long before labour did you feel a big urge to get your house completely in order for baby's arrival?

I nested around 28-32 weeks and got a load done such as decluttering, cleaning, nursery (painting furniture, waxing etc). Now I've got a lot on at work which I'm focusing on but I'm taking maternity from the 6th May so maybe after that it'll start up again!

I'm a Ftm and I have to say that I definitely nested early (which is strange because I usually procrastinate with everything) I think I was done with my little girls nursery at 4 months and im running out of things to organize/clean lol. I guess I was just too excited to wait. plus I took advantage of not being able to sleep.

I've had such an urge since about 31 weeks. But we aren't closing on our new house for two more weeks & I'll be 36 weeks! The need to paint the new nursery (which is pink and my baby is a boy) keeps me up at night! I've busied myself with shopping/ mostly browsing, packing the hospital bag, and washing clothes. All of our stuff is already packed in a storage. I think once a day hubby hears me say "they need to hurry up and get out of our house" lol :)

Yeah, the urge to finish absolutely everything and organize the whole house has been very strong since 33 weeks, will be 35 weeks this Wednesday. I think if things aren't complete the way I want in a week or so I might panic!

I think I've been in and out nesting, getting way stronger since week 30 approx. I emptied and painted the nursery back in December. Then let it rest. And now I'm sorting and laundering clothes friends have given me, and buying stuff (blankets, bottles, wipes, diapers, etc). I'll get my hospital bag done tomorrow. I'm 34 weeks. I'm also on the lookout for good second hand deals... I got baby monitor with camera for 40€, anti rolling pillow for 8€, pilates ball for 5€... And I'm now looking for a bottle sterilizer ;)

I'm on my 4th baby. Never nested! Will be 33 wks soon and have literally nothing sorted out for baby except a new pram and a couple of vests which my lovely mum bought. My house is a bit of a pigsty with 3 other kiddies and 2 dogs, I couldn't really care less at this point as long as everyone is fed and watered...I'm also still working full time, maybe when I cut back my hours in a couple of weeks I'll get something done! :)
