Contractions after sex
I go to the doctor tomorrow and I plan on talking to her about this, but i just want to see if anyone has this issue or knows anything about it. Whenever my DH and i have sex, if I O (sorry TMI) I end up having contractions. Is this something that is normal? I am just worried that the further along i get that it might actually become a major problem, but don't want to give up being with my DH if i don't have to.
I get worried sometimes about hurting her too...I assume though that unless i was doing some really crazy stuff :) that it would probably hurt me long before i ever hurt her. I try not to analyize it too much in my head b/c it's kind of a mood killer!!
I am so glad you asked this question as I was wondering the same thing, I can actually feel the baby on one side of my stomach and I started to feel really bad as if I was hurting him.
Well talked to my OB and she saw no problem as long as i am not bleeding...Thanks for all the input though, you ladies are just so smart :)

Now hopefully i can keep some kind a sex drive for aleast a while so my hubby doesn't feel too deprived...My sex drive sky rocketed there for a couple months, but now its backing off and it is getting harder for me to find a position that is comfortable. We just keep on trying and sooner or later we find one that works :)

i say yes it's normal i had this with my last pregnancy but not this once since i havn't been able to have sex since i was like 11 wks. lol
cyrena- its a real mild form of contraction, but its not painful is it? just uncomfortable!
Mine gets tight too after O. I had no idea that was contractions? Bare with me ladies...this is my first pregnancy...lol!
i have it happen to me actally, my belly really tightness after sex so i suppose thats braxton hicks, but yeah i think its normal.
it is normal as orgasm causes uterus to contract. it shouldnt be painful just kinda weird that your belly gets all tight. i dont get it nearly as much as i would like so i am with hkenny "YOU GO GIRL"...lol
with me though i think that bf is freaked out by the belly getting tight and thinks he has done something "wrong" or the baby will kick him and he kinda gets weirded out by it. lmao
anyhow if you are really worried than talk to doc about it...but in my opinion and experience...it is totally normal

you go girl!! I have read its normal. flip if i could enjoy sex at all these days i would be praying its normal too!!
I would say it's normal! I say keep the intamacy as long as you can stand it, it gets harder the further along you are.
