Traveling? by car far distance ?

My dil, is due Nov 8 she wants to go see my son graduate boot camp so very very adly Tuesday of next week, its a 13 hr car drive from MI to GA, I am very concerned. We know we shall have to stop frequently for her to stretch legs prevent blood clots. She is seeing her gyno today. I just cant imagine him giving permission for this, Yet it will break he heart not to see Robbie ...he is comming home for 2 weeks first two weeks of Nov, I am praying the baby will be born during this time. His gf ( i just call her dil its easier and I love her  and they r getting married in Nov)
anyways she has changed the babys more infront and has lowered alot in past week. She is 17 very healthy has had a perfect pregnancy...what do you all think, I am imagining being on some rd in tht Smokey Mts w a pg woman giving irth in the back of my van...would any of you pg due in Nov travel far by car now??

I would talk to her Obgyn... usually they will check the cervix and see if there are any signs of dilation/or labor present at this time.. however.. thats not an exact science and anything can happen! my dr said no more travleing one week ago for me and we are due nov 6th, and my cervix is not dialated, however i am high risk, so that might be different.. her dr should tell her if its safe and do an exam!   good luck! : )
