As has been mentioned, it totally depends. I'm 18 weeks and 3 days, and I've been able to feel movements for just over a week. And I agree with babyb: it definitely reassures you to feel Little One wriggling around in there!
I hope you get to feel him/her soon! Congrats! :)
Mine started last week ( week 17). At first I wasn't really sure but when I described it to friends they said yep thats what it feels like. I am pregnant with twins but I think I've been feeling the lower down baby only so far. Its kind of weird but reassuring.
I'm 17 weeks as of yesterday and still nothing!! MOST frustrating!
But I had an u/s last Wednesday and OMG... As DH said... it's amazing that there can be SO much activity in there and me be so unaware!!!
as ther other two ladies said it varied from person to person for me with my first daughter i felt her kick around 17-19 weeks i believe and this lil boy im carrying now around 14 weeks :0) so it just depends im sure you will feel him/her in no time.. yes i was confused with my dd about movement and gas bubbles lol its ok though we just wanna feel our lil ones move around in there and its alot of reassurance when we do feel them moving ............
Like bny807 said it varies. I felt my baby move when I was 16 weeks pregnant but it was once and then I get odd movements every once in awhile nothing steady. but i had a nurse tell me that if it feels like gas bubbles its probably your baby moving. lol
Hello! it really varies! it can be anywhere from 16 weeks to 22 with your first pregnancy! it also depends where your placenta is located (mine is on the front - anterior placenta) so i usually can't feel her kick in the front just on the sides right now.. i felt a little flutter around 16 weeks- wasn't sure if it was a gas bubble or movement, but i think it was movement. it has just been getting more and more obvious since then (i'm 20 weeks now) it is a VERY amazing feeling! they say it might not be consistent until 28 weeks or so!!!
