Hi all!  Well I have a bump, and I look pregnant.  I didn't at all with my first baby, until MUCH later.  But this is my second pregnancy, and I have twins in there.  I've put on 5 pounds, but my stomach looks like I'm like 5 months pregnant already!  When we go out, I already get the special treatment from strangers thinking I'm farther along.  Anyhow, I feel pretty good, just really tired and bad pelvic pressure (I had a swollen gland with my first pregnancy that seems to have recurred again!)  Anyhow, other then that I get this sharp pain down in my lower back every now and then.  I think it is a pinched nerve or something.  I did think I felt the babies, or one of them at least, move.  To me it just feels like when you're in the water and someone pushes water, under the water, against your tummy (only on the inside).  That's the best way I can describe it.

I'm no expert on feeling movement, this is my first pregnancy. But from what I've experienced, it hasn't been anything I'd come even close to describing as a pain. For me, it feels like bumping in one spot for a few moments. Then I'll feel it move to a different spot in the same general area. When I feel it, I can picture the baby moving around just like I saw at the u/s because it feels exactly like it looked.
The other night I felt it come and go in one spot for a while so I pressed my hand to my abdomen. I could feel it inside and out. So i grabbed Hubby's hand and put it there. He felt it and said "whoa, was that it?!" It felt like strong gas bubbles.
My book says feeling movement varies from 14-20 weeks. But you're more likely to feel it on the earlier end of the spectrum if this isn't your first pregnancy, or if you're thin. I was surprised to feel anything so soon, but I'm also starting out underweight.
Hope that was helpful. Everyone is different, so what you're experiencing could very well be the baby!

random question that goes with the kicking feeling. is it a constant "fluttering feeling" cause sometimes I get a random not sharp but a "pain" (that really isn't painful just more surprising) right where the baby is and it doesn't last long maybe 1 second or 2. Could that be the baby moving?

nickswife your already finding out the gender... soooooo jealous...
sorry ladies I'm not on here as much anymore, I feel a little out of the loop but with being back in Ontario and helping my mom out and my sisters I haven't been able to get on here as much..
I'm no longer sick ::) oh man for awhile there I thought I wasn't going to make it but randomly one day it stopped. which is awesome cause I feel like I can finally really enjoy this pregnancy.
I've thought that I've felt the baby move but to be honest I'm not sure, I could just be making it up in my head. I've been praying to feel something before my drs. appointment on thursday I always get really nervous before those. I'm hoping to hear the babys heart beat on the doppler there.
anyways I think thats all for updates.

I'm feeling AMAZING!!!  I had a fairly easy first trimester too with regards to morning sickness and that.  I was just (and still am but not so bad) REALLY tired.  The main thing for me has been intense bloating that makes me look like I'm about 5 months whenever I eat because it gets that much worse.
But in the last few days, I have been feeling generally better.  I can't rally put my finger on what it is.  I'm still tired and still bloated but somehow I feel better.
What's making me feel on top of the world is that I was a tad worried that my feeling better was a bad sign - I know... I'm paranoid - but yesterday I got the results of my NT scan and bloods for the double screen and I was ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIED about that (because of my age... I know 37's not a BIG deal but still) and they all came back EXCELLENT.
I've been quite worried about having to do an amnio but, despite knowing how worried I've been, my doc is actually suggesting I not do it because my results are that good.  We've decided we'll do the triple screen at 16.5 weeks and make a final decision then.
SO relieved... I may actually finally begin enjoying this pregnancy!!!

I am 13w1d today and i could swear i felt the baby move a few times this last week forward. :0) with my dd i felt her move first at 15 weeks. and as for as how im feeling im actually feeling great as like shellio my 1st trimester has been pretty easy compared to my dd i was a wreck. sick/aches/acne/ you name it.. but this time a few acne spots but barely no sickness (nausea here and there) back/side aches. and well thats about it for me. for my baby bump its there but i can still button the pants up and like shellio when i eat its a bigger looking bump to cute but when i just wake up its like gosh im getting fat :0) haha so yea i cant wait to get a bigger belly bump.. and 2nd trimester. hopefully it will be as good as the first trimester...

ooo so exciting!!  yup, as shelio described it thats exactly what i have felt!!  as for the pain between your shoulder blades have you noticed a coorelation with eating?? it may just be musculoskeletal, but if you are having any belly pain up high after eating sometimes (but doesn't sound like it) it can be gallbladder related- but doesn't sound like thats whats going on.. avoiding the foods that exacerbate it helps! :)     i have a similar pain but i think its my rib! it hurts when i sit up for a long time in the same position.. i guess our bones are moving around making room for baby!! YEEA! : )    i can't wait till we all have big baby bumps and no doubts that we are feeling our little ones! :)

It really does feel like gas bubbles.  I didn't fully understand that until AFTER my daughter was born and now I'll feel a gas bubble and think (Wow! That felt like a baby kicking!)

I'm not talking about gas PAIN...just little flutters and twinges.  It's awesome!  I bet what you both felt was the baby!!  :)

I had a pretty easy 1st trimester and I swear the 2nd is getting worse and worse! What's the deal? 2nd is supposed to be best! I have been having HORRIBLE back pain between my shoulder blades all the way up to my shoulders for a couple weeks now. It's getting ridiculous and unbearable. Any suggestions? I've tried stretching, heating pads, hot showers, adjusting the way I sleep, sit, stand etc. I'm dying!

As for movement, I'm with you byn. I thought I felt something the other morning. It was like little twitters in my tummy. Similar to gas bubbles, but different the way it stayed in one spot and would come and go. I'm 14 weeks today, so I'm hoping like Amy I feel more soon!
Amy- how would you describe the feeling?
Baby bump... not too much. Buttoning pants is long gone. When I eat I look like I actually have a baby bump. It's cute. Otherwise, it just looks like I've put on a few lbs in my tummy. Not so cute.. :)

HI!  I'm doing OK.  Some days are better than others...just when I think my nausea has gone away I'll have a yucky day.  I'm at the tail end of you ladies though (12 wks on Saturday) so I might still have a week or two to go before I feel better...hopefully not longer!)  I definitely have a baby bump...but this is #2 for me and they say you show sooner.  I haven't been able to button my pants for about two weeks.  I feel VERY fat.  I'm ready to have a cute round belly and not just feel wide and disgusting.  :)

No movement yet, but I'm looking forward to it!  I felt it at 15 wks with my daughter and I'm hoping to notice a little sooner this time since I know what it feels like.

:)  Anxious to hear how everyone else is doing!
