eating placenta

Any moms choose to eat their placenta for past pregnancies? Or anyone planning on doing it this pregnancy? I'm considering it, but I want to hear as many stories as possible to help me make my decision.

Both that is really interesting. So have they done studies that have found that it's proven to benefit those things? Like I said I've heard of people doing it but have never understood why. I always associated it with religion or something. I never knew they could do a pill. Honestly I've just heard of people frying it up and eating it with their family. It totally freaks me out haha.

@10angels...thank you. I honestly wasn't even meaning to be rude. I was simply curious but whatever. Lol lol

I honestly never really entertained the idea before, but I am now :) I will definitely do some research and choose whether we'd like to spend the extra money to have encapsulated. I know people who have cooked and eatin it....I have a weak stomach so that wouldn't work for me but I'm very curious as to what the cost and health benefits of encapsulation and taking it :) thanks for posting such an honest question

I have a friend that had hers freeze dried and encapsulated. Not as gross as frying it up for dinner sounds.
