eating placenta

Any moms choose to eat their placenta for past pregnancies? Or anyone planning on doing it this pregnancy? I'm considering it, but I want to hear as many stories as possible to help me make my decision.

It's crazy idea but if you really going do this try to eat it row that's the only way to get it most of it.

Both that is really interesting. So have they done studies that have found that it's proven to benefit those things? Like I said I've heard of people doing it but have never understood why. I always associated it with religion or something. I never knew they could do a pill. Honestly I've just heard of people frying it up and eating it with their family. It totally freaks me out haha.

@10angels...thank you. I honestly wasn't even meaning to be rude. I was simply curious but whatever. Lol lol

Its supposed to help with post birth symptoms as well as helping make milk, its been used for centuries. Western culture is a bunch of narrow minded prudes.

It contains your own natural hormones. It helps the uterus recover to prepregnancy state. It balances your system, replenished depleted iron. Gives you more energy. Increases milk production. Lessens bleeding postpartum. Helps prevent baby blues. Can help during menopause. I will definitely be getting mind encapsulated and take them just like you do a prenatal vitamin. :)

I wasn't being rude at all. I asked her why she would want to. I was legitimately curious but ok.
