Preparing for Pregnancy

My husband and I are planning to begin TTC in August.  We have already been blessed with a healthy baby boy who is a year and a half, and are ready to add to our clan.  Any advice on preparing the body to be fertile and increase the probability of pregnancy.  Our son was a "surprise" so I have never "tried" to conceive before.

I'm hoping to be allowed to start trying in july! Get you hubby to start taking vitamins now. It will help produce healthier/stronger sperm. He needs to be preparing now--stop smoking cut back on drinking as it is the sperm produced now that will be used in 2 months.
I presume you are taking prenatal vitamins now, in canada they are starting to reccomend more folic acid (up to 5mg) so make sure you're getting your folic acid.
Good luck and lots of baby dust!

Well, keeping yourself fit and beginning prenatals are both the first steps. If you exercise regulaly already than that is great if not try doing some walking. For TTC, you may also check out how to track your cycle so that you guys BD (baby dance) during the right times of month when you are most fertile.
