Can a pregnancy be non-detectable through urine?

I have taken around 7 home pregnancy tests all have come up slightly positive, then I went to Dr. for their urine test both cam up negative.  After they took blood because I was persistent the bold test came back also positive.  This morning, 2 days after blood results I took another home preg, but this one came back negative.  I am still feeling the symptoms of pregnancy.  My question is, can pregnancy sometimes not be fully detectable through urine?

My first pregnancy I had two or three tests come back negative and I was so deppressed bc I had all the symptoms then a wk or two later I took another one and it was positive. If your blood work came back positive I would definitely trust that more than the pee stick lol. Good luck also, I lost my first baby and with my second, who is 15 months old, I also got a few negitive PT's.

The positive home testes were a week of tests from a few days before my missed period to a few days after.  Yesterday and again today the tests came back neg.  I have an appt today at 2, we'll see what happens.  My husbands and I have been trying for 10 years to get preg.  If this one is gone then that'll be to misscarrages and no babies in 10 years.  The last one was in 2003.  This *****!

It can happen but it's rare.  I don't know of any other reasons, but one i do know of if is some sort of kidney issue where the kidneys don't process the HCG like they are supposed to but the pregnancy can be deteced with a blood test.

Or as heavenskye said, depending on the type of blood test (qualitative versus quantative) it can come back positive before a urine test.  It also depends on what that particular lab looks for.  Some consider an HCG level higher than 5 as a positive while others don't register positive until 10 or 15.

The problem with urine tests is that they do not detect pregnancy as early as they make it seem, if the blood test came back positive I would go with that, it's very likely you are pregnant but it is too early for the urine tests to tell. I had a similar problem, where the urine tests came back either negative or a VERY faint positive, my blood test wass positive, now I have a 16 month old lol. Good Luck!!
